Psychotherapy for Teens and Young Adults
I help you build a strong sense of self in the face of trauma, depression, loneliness, and anxiety.
There is nothing wrong with you.
You are not doomed to feeling sad, disconnected, and lonely. Relational psychotherapy can help you feel more connected to other people, the world around you, and yourself.
Whether you’re a teen in high school or college or a young adult ready to launch into the world, I create a safe, therapeutic environment to explore, experiment, and create new ways of understanding and coping, which can lead to positive and lasting change.
Learn how to befriend your emotions and use them as superpowers. Accept yourself with all your complicated parts. Contact me to discuss setting up an initial consultation.
Young Adults
Sorting out what you want to do with your life is overwhelming. You find yourself depressed, obsessing over the past and missing out on the present while the future feels murky and hopeless. Through our sessions, you can create a life that you want to live, even in this chaotic world.
Teens
You’re feeling overwhelmed by school, your friends, and the state of the world. Feelings of hopelessness and not being good enough are taking over. It’s impossible to concentrate, and it seems like you will never catch up. Everyone says it gets better—but when? I’m a warm, nonjudgmental listener who helps you sort through your feelings, settle your thoughts, and create a sense of (realistic!) hope.
